You now all know about the successful campaign to rid Khaan Shaykhoon of the miserable cockroaches that infested the town since 2012.  The Syrian Army’s crack Tiger Forces are now destined to do the same in Ma’arrat Al-Nu’maan, the town which gave birth to one of the Arab World’s greatest poets, Abu-Al-‘Alaa` Al-Ma’arri.  The bust of Abu-Al-‘Alaa` which greets tourists visiting the town was famously “beheaded” by one of Alqaeda’s brilliant philosophers when terrorists entered it and wrested control of its neighborhoods from Syrian Army defenders.  Well, it’s coming back to a theater near you in the next few days.

Yesterday and today, Syrian Air Force bombers shellacked the following villages and towns:  Al-Tahh, Talminniss, Ma’ar Shooreen, Jarjanaaz and Al-Dayr Al-Sharqi.  The targets contained fortifications and transport vehicles which would be used to delay the advance of the Syrian Army.

When a kountry gets uppity its time to send them a bill.. Better than US changing history books, a bill is demand for payment for expenditure that’s backed by accounting..

Twenty bombing strikes per day is a quite astonishing number. Many civilians get killed in this U.S. bombing campaign. The U.S. often seems not to know who it is hitting. This report from last week is typical: Called “as essential to mission success as bullets,” the E-11A Battlefield Airborne Communications Node flew its 10,000th sortie Feb. 24, 2017 at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, since arriving in Afghanistan eight years ago. The response to the blood of Soleimani and Al-Muhandis must be expulsion of all U.S. forces from the region. the loss of five aircraft in one month in Afghanistan might well… Read more »

The USA was the kingmaker in Iraq, but now its withdrawal is inevitable by Elijah J Magnier Iraq and the Iraqis have spoken: Iraqi Major General Jafar al-Battat, head of Baghdad area security, estimated at “more than one million” the number of protestors who filled up the Karradah and Jadriyeh in Baghdad. Protestors called for the total withdrawal of the US-led foreign forces from the country. They mobilised in response to the call of the Shia cleric Sayyed Moqtada al-Sadr, in concert with all Shia groups and other Iraqi minorities who want to see the departure of US forces and… Read more »

Total collapse by the terrorists, several villages liberated in southern Idlib, Maarrat al Numan is now encircled by 3 sides.

North of Maarrat al Numan, the SAA has liberated Khan al-Sibel, huge area south of Saraqiq, just 8 kms from this key town at the moment.

The terrorists are now in several possible pockets/cauldron, they will have to flee to avoid herding in a killing zone, if they do not flee they are walking dead.

There were conflicting reports about the owner company and type of the plane. Citing sources, media described it as a military jet belonging to the US troops. Earlier reports said it was a passenger plane of the national carrier, the Ariana Afghan Airlines.

However, the airline’s acting CEO, Mirwais Mirzakwal, told Reuters that the crashed aircraft did not belong to the company.

When is there a decision on Portuguese troops in Iraq? There is no fixed time horizon, but in a couple of weeks we will have to make a decision, which will be based on the resumption of training activities. If there is no prospect of recovery and like this contingent, which was in November and returns to May, they cannot spend two or three months doing nothing. Will it be decided in mid-February? Until then, I think we have to make a decision, we are talking about training activities that were interrupted in the first week of January on a… Read more »

Under normal circumstances this news “A US soldier died in “a rollover accident” in Syria, the US Defense Department reported on January 25.” wouldn’t poke any cynicism inside of me. Thanks to a protracted avalanche of Fake News over the past years, I now wonder if this guy actually died in Iraq, due to Iranian missile strikes, and is the first one of a series of upcoming [more or less ‘mysterious] deaths, whose [brain dead] life support is switched off…

The U.S. mainstream media’s shoddy, dishonest reporting about the Iran Crisis continues. The media refuses to closely examine the Trump administration’s latest justification for killing Qasem Soleimani — that the Iranian general was responsible for the deaths of “thousands of U.S. troops.” Why not explain that Iraqis started to resist that occupation, especially after the U.S. torture and abuse of prisoners at Abu Ghraib prison? And so then some of those Iraqi insurgents appealed to Iran for help. Soleimani helped train the Iraqi Shiite militias that blunted the ISIS offensive. And Cole points out that U.S. fighter jets directly supported… Read more »

Summary of the fronts as of now: As mentioned earlier today, the SAA would most likely try to by pass and encircle Maarrat al Numan, and for that it had to storm Maar Shurin and Babilla, and the 25th did way more than that early in the evening of today…it went all the way to al Dana, breaking completely the turkish backed al Qaeda/muslin Brotherhood terrorists, splitting them on the M5 with Saraqib and pushing deep into Idlib and toward Ariha. There are no defenses ready on the hills, the terrorists are into a very humiliating defeat, the SAA will… Read more »

The 25th just liberated al Suwama, thus pushing hard toward Khan al Sibel. The whole area north of Babilla is under severe air striking, no terrorists is left alive on the M5, the 25th is moving as the air strikes ends, coordination has been superb.

Long night ahead, major victories still tonight.

Bad weather is approaching Syria again and we should expect the advances to slow down or consolidate. The frontline in Maarrat al Numan is more of a chess game, flushing terrorists from several places with minimal fight, in the meantime allow the artillery, tanks and air strikes to maximize their losses. It will take a while in Idlib, the SAA will be now fighting on hills and armoured vehicles will have limitations. In the short term, the SAA will create a situation in southern Idlib that the terrorists will have to leave the area of risk encirclement or fire control… Read more »

Update from Yemen. According to the reports I’ve seen, Houthi-led forces have inflicted another major defeat on the Saudi invaders in the area around Nehm. A Saudi armoured column attempted to advance and from video I’ve seen it appears it was wiped out…. many tens of armoured vehicles destroyed. The Ansarrulah resistance forces had earlier cut this armoured column off from the rear. Reports are that the Yemeni resistance has captured Baraqish town, al-Safara town, Jawf crossroad, the camp of the 312nd Brigade, mount Yam and most of Nehm area from Saudi-backed forces in the triangle area between Nehm, Marib… Read more »

THE ANTI-EXCEPTIONALIST FRONT IN IRAQ – IN ONE MINUTE Muqtada al-Sadr has concocted an alliance with the Hashd al-Shaabi – with enormous popular appeal. Obviously, the Exceptionalists never saw it coming. The political arena in Iraq is now very clear – with pro (Sunnis, Kurds) and against US. The problem with Muqtada is that his P.R. was lousy. He did not explain in detail that he was CEASING HIS SUPPORT for anti-government protests in Iraq. Even if these protests continue, they will be insignificant. Sadr has always walked a very fine line in attempting to be a bridge between Sunni and Shia. Sometimes he takes positions or makes statements that appeal to the domestic Sunni population, and this is sometimes misunderstood as a betrayal of the majority of Iraqis, who are Shia. He is an Iraqi nationalist and wants all foreign influence out of Iraq, both Iranian and Western, but he couldn’t take a strong position against the US until the US did something to remind Sunnis of its actions in Fallujah 15 years ago. Now that many Sunni are infuriated with the US… Read more »

“The “Podsolnukh”

How A Russian Radar Managed To Detect Six F-35 ‘Stealth’ Fighters From A Distance Of Over 1500 Km

According to military experts, at present, an over-the-horizon extremely long-range radar system is actively used by the Russian military’s air defense units. The official name of the system is “Container” (29B6) (Russian: 29Б6 «Контейнер»). What is particularly interesting is that US claims the F-35 is the most advanced stealth design in the world, virtually “invisible” to any radar system.

The dinamics of war Every government able to convince his army to invade a foreign country should be concerned with the end of it. Endless wars without a political solution in sight are prone to a military coup. Trump seems to understand this and keep trying to calm down the public with promises to bring the solders back home. Antonio, so true, mercs/contractors do not enter in the countries statistics and medical care for vets, the US found out cheaper to go that way and more war crimes and crime against humanity will happen because of that. A fine line is how the Geneva convention treats this subject, as with the terrorists, the convention does not protect them, thus the use of combined forces, official military and mercenaries, creating a fog on who is who on the battlefield. Substituting deniable mercenaries and gangs of bandits for official soldiers is an indirect way of starting to withdraw from the area. Are Americans running out of usable troops of their own as their military becomes infested with politically correct obese trannies rather than fighting men? They can hide in the Green Zone embassy, giving orders which may not be obeyed when the dollar collapses into waste paper. Then they may be murdered by their ex-employees.

One ‘con-traktor’ was killed before the Soleimani murder, and the US bombed a bunch of shit in response, w/alot of casualties. Now we have this situation where 39+ military personnel had their brains sucked out of their heads, and the response is crickets. It ain’t going to play well in Peoria. The soldiers see what’s going on, and that their lives are of less value to the gov’t than those of the ‘con-traktors’. I think a fragging epidemic is on the horizon, and frankly, it’s about time. Late on January 25, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) advanced further in the outskirt of the city of Maarat al-Numan in southeast Idlib. According to pro-government forces, the SAA captured the town of Ma’ar Shamshah, to the southeast of Maarat al-Numan. The army also imposed fire control over the strategic M5 highway, which pass through the city. – SouthFront

It looks like China has caved on the biggest price of all, Its financial system. Yet, they still got hit with a ” naturally ” occurring virus. You should have stayed strong China. ” The most perilous part of the phase 1 trade deal is the section concerning the further opening up of China’s financial markets to foreign capital. Over the last 10 years China has been very cautious in reducing capital controls and allowing foreign banks and hedge funds to invest in its capital markets. The 1997 Asian financial crisis was caused by south-east Asian economies allowing foreign speculative… Read more »

Let us not forget:

“The presence of the United States military and its contractors in Syria is illegal. It is illegal according to Article 25 of the UN Charter; illegal according to the Syrian government and international law; and illegal according to the historically established principles of Westphalian sovereignty. In other words, the United States government is acting as a terrorist entity and insurgency in Syria. ” – Link to Fort Russ

Propaganda controlling propaganda > The U.S. has just cut off access of Iran’s Fars News Agency to its .com domain, ‘to protect US citizens from propaganda’. Although there are other sites carrying Iran news, in case now and then you are interested checking what Iran’s previous FarsNews Agency team has to say, Iran now has a new site > https://en.farsnews.ir/ . Of course most nations have their propaganda, but should we feel so much better knowing the US is protecting to assure we do not make our own decisions connecting dots? Mike.

Isnt one of the tenants about being a soldier to protect the rights of others to have their say? I mean it sure is easier than saying you love killing gooks.. which means you look like a racist.. But in reality a coward because them gooks are unarmed and cant shoot back. I always looked at soldiers funny when they told me this..

But I wonder if they still believe this when they join up to go kill gooks far away..

The whole dastardly mess is Tony Blair’s fault. He kept insisting on a war in the middle east to Bush jr. He is highly culpable as are, his assistants and beneficiaries. I hope they choke on their ill-gotten gaines from all this suffering. I do not see how they can have one moment’s peace.

Turkish al Qaeda/Muslin Brotherhood terrorists continue to collapse in front of Maarrat al Numan, the SAA resumed the offensive few hours ago and liberated the terrorist’s nest of Tel Menes and few minutes ago Maar Shamshah and Ayn al-Dayr, placing the 25th Special Forces just 500 meters away from Maarrat al Numan. Then it makes sense that majority of deaths were not combat deaths since a combat death only happens in battle and by an enemy and dead in the field. I saw one guy with his face ripped off.. He was still alive.. with no eyes mouth, nose or a face.. He did end up in the US.. Not sure he survived but may have.. That means he dont get any benefits?? If Trump genuinely wants US troops out of the Middle East and is against war as his supporters profess, this gives him the perfect face-saving out. All he has to do is say, “Well, I wanted to stay, but the Iraqi people and their sovereign government have spoken. They don’t want us there, so I am removing them to bases in Kuwait and Jordan. If ISIS reappears and the Iraqis need our troops back for assistance, they will be close by.” Of course that’s not going to happen, because Trump is not and never has been opposed to war. As promised, the march in Baghdad confirmed the overwhelming rejection by millions of Iraqis of US presence in Mesopotamia, confirming also the certain expulsion for US & puppet forces, and sooner rather than later. In Syria the SAA & allied heros are clearing the hegemon’s filth from Idlib to western Aleppo, marking the beginning of the end for the rodents who do not manage to flee. And in Yemen the Houthis have smashed the hegemon’s KSA allies by capturing the entire Nihm District, with many Wahhabi rats KIA & WIA and many more surrendering en masse. The SAA has resumed its offensive today in NW Syria, so far 3 axis were opened and 2 axis saw fierce battles and swift advances, the terrorists are collapsing and SAA moral is sky high. 1) SE-South Idlib front Massive gains in few hours. hmm interesting that minorities are volunteering to go die at the front and if caught get their heads chopped and asses greased..

But a lot fo truth in it.. not sure what you are implying.. That Syria hire condor one to face the terrorists? Remember SAA demobilised TF from 20,000 to under 5000 now.. You cant really expect the geezers to carry the load for decades while the virgins are out chasing girls.. although I think the pilots are all mostly way beyond retirement age still not trusting others to handle the skills necessary..

Turkish backed al Qaeda/Muslin Brotherhood terrorists are collapsing in several fronts, as mentioned earlier the SAA has started an offensive in a very very large frontline, at least 3 axis at the moment: 1) Maarrat al Numan – The SAA has liberated Dayr Sharqi few hours ago and now is storming Maar Shamarin, in no time this town will be also liberated. With that done the 25th Special Div will storm Maar Shamshah and out flank Talmenes, basically nullifying all the terrorists’ work to build defenses in Talmenes. 34 US troops suffered brain injury in Iran’s revenge strike for Soleimani’s killing – Pentagon

All discussion between Turkey, Russia, Iran and Syria collapsed regarding any sort of cease fire and deal for NW Syria, Erdogan’s terrorists attacked the SAA more than 30 times in January, including Aleppo city few times with several civilian casualties. Your > “All discussion between Turkey, Russia, Iran and Syria collapsed” is indeed sad, but not unexpected news. Turkey with population of 85 million plus 2nd largest military in NATO such news places immense extra pressure on tiny Syria pop of just 18 million w/ high percent displaced. Are you still optimistic SAA w/ Russia air can still prevail? Would be nice if SAA can acquire some added outside muscle – such as China weighing-in. Thanks for your savvy reporting. Mike.

Zero in my point of view, the US has lost Iraq for good, not even money will amend things, China has stepped up in Iraq, not only the $20Bi deal signed months back, but now China is also going after any US Company in Iraq that know they will not be able to stay, not even in the Kurdistan Province, simply too risky for any American civilian to stay in Iraq.
Expect a total withdrawn from the US, military and civilian, and that will impact Syria and maybe even Jordan.

Over 1MM Iraqis have spoken today, and there are Shia, Sunni, Christian, Yazidis, Kurds etc…the US/Israeli plot in Iraq back fired in their faces.

Going back to US Sunnistan card, no doubt there are Iraqis that are traitor, but the Iraqi PMUs and Army are spread out through out the country and will control any possible unrest by these traitors, which now they are fewer than before, hundreds of thousands were killed as ISIS in Iraq and Syria, those were by far the hardcore freaks, few are left over, so the possible Sunnistan card is a shark with no teeth.

Thanks, Canthama, for that post and video of the demonstration crowd. Seems cleric Muqtada Al Sadr called for the demo to rally for today, to show citizen support for the recent unanimous vote of Iraq’s parliament for removal US forces. This removal must include not just all US military, but also the zillions of hired supporting private contractors. If Sadr’s influence holds they just might pull it off. Time will soon tell. Mike.
