RUSSIA BUILDING NEW AIRBASE AT AL-SHU’AYRAAT; NEW AIRCRAFT ARRIVING IN SYRIA; T90 ON DISPLAY IN ALEPPO

hgu

HOMS: It’s now official, the Russian Defense Ministry has approved the preparation of a new airbase for the RuAF in the area of Al-Shu’ayraat where another SAAF base was located.   It appears that the coastal base at Humaymeem is insufficient to handle the number of sorties required to eradicate the terrorists from Syria while also being capable of striking targets in nearby Iraq when the government in Baghdad formally requests this intervention.  It is expected that PM Al-‘Abbaadi will make the request shortly.  The US has been curiously stagnant in its efforts to help both Syria and Iraq in their war against ISIS.

Al-Wa’er:  This suburb of Homs City which was a vital and resilient part of the Syrian renaissance has finally fallen to the legitimate government in Damascus.  The rats are leaving in piecemeal fashion under the protection of both the army and the Red Crescent.  Soon the rodents will have departed.  Many of the vermin have asked for amnesty and are being considered as we write.

بدء تطبيق اتفاق حي الوعر في حمص ودخول أولى قوافل الإغاثة

It has been reported that Russian MiG 31B Foxhounds have been spotted in Latakia and that even more sophisticated interceptors are on the way.

Note, too, that the Syrian Army has now deployed its T90 front line battle tanks in Southern Aleppo and they have been seen by our relatives there.  They are quite beautiful and impervious to the American TOW rocket.  Al-Zahraa` and Nibbul may be the first beneficiaries of this new technology.  Watch carefully for events there.  It’s coming.

NEWS AND COMMENT:

Brandon talks about Erdoghan’s son and his links to ISIS. Very important article for those in the West:

http://www.activistpost.com/2015/12/bilal-erdogan-the-real-isis-oil-minister.html

Arabi Souri wrote this insightful essay about how Germany is getting into the fray:

Francisco Monteiro sent me an article by Penny which, as usual, reflects my own suspicions about the Kurds and their intentions:

http://pennyforyourthoughts2.blogspot.co.uk/2015/11/kurdistan-aka-second-israel-ethnic.html

Nicholas Reardon sends this one, hilarious, with Amos Hochstein as the protagonist.  More US bulltwang about ISIS and oil:

https://www.rt.com/news/324876-us-isis-oil-tureky/

Nick sends this one, too, about the failed American effort to put together a united front against the secular Dr. Assad:

Kevin Hester forwards this article which talks about the history of Western maliciousness in Syria:

Just to get an idea of what MIG-31 is :
It’s an S-300\S-400 with a effective radius of 3000 km. Stricly AA plane, with record breaking speed and altitude. Designed to protect our wast motherland, as it is impossible to cover it with ground based AA systems.
But it is requiering a very good targeting (A-50, AWACS analogue) and radar infrastructure (that we have in russia). I don’t know if it has enough of infrastructure to operate in Syria.

Obama’s Credibility Crisis – December 6, 2015 Exclusive: Inside Official Washington’s bubble, the Important People believe their “group think” is the envy of the world, but the truth is that their credibility has collapsed to such a degree that their propaganda can’t even match up with the head-chopping videos of the Islamic State crazies, writes Robert Parry. Syria Right to Hit NATO Warplanes Syria is ready to deploy the fearsome S-300 air-defence system supplied by its Russian ally. The anti-aircraft surface-to-air missiles will give Syria control over its territory and the capability to shoot down any intrusive warplane or missile. NATO warplanes beware! http://sputniknews.com/columnists/20151206/1031325664/syria-nato-planes-cunningham.html The fatal shoot-down of a Russian fighter jet by a Turkish F-16 two weeks ago has given urgency to installing the air-defence system. It is as much in Russia’s interest as it is in Syria’s to have air cover – and the S-300, and its newer generation, the S-400, are reckoned to be… Read more »

The good news about Turks building a base in Iraq is that it is smack-dab on the frontline between Kurds and the City of Mosul. Its location literally blocks Kurds from ever attempting to overrun and annex Mosul because they would have to overrun the Turkish base to do so.

Jim Dean – A Tough Year for Syria http://journal-neo.org/2015/12/06/a-tough-year-for-syria/ What a difference a year can make since attending last December’s CT event in Syria when we were not even sure if it would be held. Who would have ever believed we would have seen the complete reversal of the military situation there beyond anyone’s imagination? Russia was already in the bear trap that NATO and the EU had set up in Ukraine, with its currency getting hammered and international credit lines cut off. Kiev was doing its best to finish off the Donbass Republics while blaming it all on Moscow… Read more »

I often give people here a hard time because of their Western Values. I have done a lot of research today. However this may be of interest. BRICS don’t like Heavy Metal much. NATO and rich countries do. It is definitely associated with depression and other problems. I just think the rich are spiritually sick. If you focus on money, that’s what you will get and that’s all that you will get plus all the shit that money can buy. Incredible activity in Lattakia today, advances in several fronts there, very important developments.

1. The Saker has got it wrong many times and is by no means an expert, though he does have a nice, long, detailed writing style and was one of the few bloggers out there that had interesting content on the Ukraine situation and since he had been writing blogs regularly for years he accumulated a following. One instance when he got it wrong is when he basically thought the Russians would not intervene in Syria. 2. As someone pointed out above correctly he totally misses out Iran and China and their role in the resistance axis. 3. The west… Read more »

Does anyone have any information in regards to the reported airstrikes that target SAA positions? Apparently SAA soldiers died and many have been wounded. This is very serious. Why would the Russians/Syrians let this happen. Why do they not use their air defense systems to take out enemy aircraft.
Is it not time to secure the airspace and take care of these Western cowboys in the sky?

Sicel Joe, that is what I am asking myself as well? The S-400 is supposedly a very effective weapon. Why is it not being used? I understand that everyone has to play “politics”, but this situation has been dragging on for far to long. I think The SAA and Russia need to draw clear lines in regards to their policies.
