These homes in the Al-Rubay’ah area are typical of the summer resort character of the region. Our home in Slinfeh looks exactly the same. You can see in the center a successful strike by the SAAF on Alqaeda. (Photo: Sana).
LATAKIA: In the far north, in the village of Abu Reesha, the SAAF flew 3 sorties after receiving exact intelligence about the location of a Alqaeda/Nusra base which was just being fortified. The SAAF strike cost the Turk-supported terrorists 13 rats with scores injured. All are believed to be foreign with many from Turkey itself.
Kubbaani Village: The SAAF has reportedly killed over 25 rodents from Alqaeda/Nusra as they were moving in a convoy deeper to the south. That was not a good idea. It appears no rodent survived the attack which caused a huge conflagration. Rats trying to escape the fire along the narrow roadway were picked off by both militia and villagers. The actual number of dead vermin may exceed 50 once the assessment is completed. A major disaster for Turkish rodents.
Al-Zabadaani: There are some news reports indicating that the SAA and HZB have agreed to permit trapped rodents to leave the town on condition they do so without their weapons. My information, so far, is that no such agreement has been made. In fact, the heavy fighting in the following areas is in direct contradiction to the vague reports. However, it appears they are trying desperately to talk their way out of a parlous situation. There are very few rodents left to fight.
Al-Seelaan Quarter in Zabadaani: Right at the center of the town. The SAA and HZB have now finished off all nests here and have seized large caches of weapons and ammunition.
At the Al-‘Ali Fuel Station in the direction of the Corniche southwest of the town and at the Public Transportation Station Quarter, the SAA and HZB killed these rats:
“Abu Kinaan Al-Leebi” (Id pending. LIBYAN BARBARY APE)
Hammaad Abu Jamaal
Fawwaaz Khurayta (a/k/a “Al-Khawaaja, i.e. “the Gentleman”)
Another 4 could not be identified.
Harastaa at the Reservations Center: The SAA killed a reported 5 rodents belonging to Ahraar Al-Shaam. Weapons and ammo were seized.
Mudeeraa Village south of Harastaa, SAA killed these members of the Jaysh Al-Islam:
‘Irbeen: Syrian Army artillery hit pay dirt with a direct bull’s eye on a nest of rodents belonging to Nusra/Alqaeda. No other details.
Jawbar: 2 nests were targeted by SAA artillery south of Al-Jawra Mosque and along the length of the Industrial Trade School to the south. There were many fatalities and wounded. No other details.
Daarayyaa: At the Associations Quarter, 6 rats confirmed killed, all belonging to Ahraar Al-Shaam.

Two articles from The Saker come to two totally different (totally similar?) conclusions. Go figure:
