LATAKIA: MORE STRATEGIC SITES TAKEN BY SYRIAN ARMY; TURK TERRORISTS BEFUDDLED

syria_army_flag

LATAKIA: It appears the rodents can’t do anything right.  They can’t even hold on to mountainous redoubts easily protected by the Tartous City Girl Scouts. Yesterday, the Syrian Army backed by Popular Defense Committees trashed whole areas once infested by Turk-supported foreign rats killing over 30 of them with the rest hurrying back to the safety of Terrorist Turkey.  The seizure of all the summit of Jabal Al-Nabi Yunus (Jonah the Prophet Mountain) gave the SAA a unique vantage point with which to monitor and study rat positions.  Its loss was a disaster for the retarded Turks.

Al-Rayyaana Village:  The rodents were praying to their beloved Satan when the SAA came upon them from the south in 4 platoons of infantrymen.  One unit moved stealthily to secure the pile of mortar rockets and boxes of ammunition stacked up like so much unwanted Christmas presents.  The captain in charge of the operation then gave the go-ahead to open fire on the kneeling vermin.  Oh, what a mess!  14 rodents were sent straight to Old Scratch without so much as a whimper.  Among the carcasses were Turkomans and Turks.  There were no Syrians.  I have no names.

Bayt ‘Ayyoosh Village:  All Jihadist foreigners here In the farms and hills around this sleepy hamlet.  You can find it below Qastal Ma’aaf in an unnamed box.   The SAA seized heavy weapons brought in from Turkey, some with Zionist markings.  There were some sophisticated communications equipment of clearly Turk origin but manufactured in Japan and the Zionist Entity.  The number killed was 10 with 4 taken prisoner.

Qastal Ma’aaf:  This is the resort town favored by a physician acquaintance of mine named Dr. Hassan Al-Khateeb from Damascus.  It was liberated fully and finally yesterday.  All the pretty chalets were stripped of tiles, furniture – even the fruit trees were deliberately damaged by the stinking, slimy, greasy rats who turned out to be mostly from Chechnya and Daghestan.

Fighting also reported in Jubb Al-Ahmar and Al-Markashliyya.

major point is to undercut the narrativ of sectarian war. this is actually the sense of the creation of “ISIL” (later rebranded “IS” to achieve this goal on global scale). the trouble is the huge credibility of the _secular_ ruling syrian baath party as well as hisbollah in that respect. we will soon see cross-boarder action of the security forces of the secular states syria and iraq in a joint effort to undercut the sectarian nature of warfare spread by daesh and other _bearers of terror_ in an war on terror capable of being run within the framework of secularism… Read more »

its has until now not been appreciated on this site the tremendous impact of the ongoings in and around ramadi for the tactical and strategical set-up in this war on the bearer of terror. not only is the iraqi prme minister speaking about the need of cross-boarder action between syria and iraq by the legitimate security forces but the stance that in rural sunni-dominated iraq only the iraqi army should confront the terror and not other, for example, shia-militia so successful in the liberation of central iraq and especially tikrit is completely discredited through incompetence of the iraqi army. therefore… Read more »

Nahlaya and Kafr Najd towns near Ariha city are about to fall or have fallen. Time to move west for the SAA or they might get trapped at Ariha.

West of the corridor and NE Latakia are more important now. No need for panic, but they must get their act together soon.

I quite like this………says it all really. Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) said “There will be in my Community a dissent and a faction, a people with excellent words but vile deeds. They will read Qur’an, but their faith does not go past their throats. They will pass through religion the way an arrow passes through its quarry. They will no more come back to the religion than the arrow will come back to its original course. They are the worst of human beings and the worst of all creation. The one who kills them or is killed by them is blessed.… Read more »

It seems ISIS had its “bridge too far” moment lately, with the over stretching offensive towards Palmyra, ISIS has lost most of the control in Der Ez Zor city, now reduce to a smaller pocket downtown and risking losing its presence as days go by. ISIS is losing completely any possibility of offensive in Hasaka, huge loses recently toward the Azziz mountain where YPG and NDF secured all the strategic point, this will allow control of a very large area, besides of several villages being liberated. ISIS is on the verge to lose Hasaka as a whole in the next… Read more »

Ziad,

I am hoping that you can explain the plan behind the redeployment from Mastoumeh and probably Ariha — is it to make the enemy overconfident so Idlib city can be liberated as you predicted?

A series of videos and updates from Mastoumeh and nearby — http://eaworldview.com/2015/05/syria-special-rebels-capture-regimes-last-military-camp-near-idlib/

The loss of Al-Mastoumah and the precarious situation of Ariha are painful but bearable. They shorten SAA resupply lines while extending those of the enemy making them vulnerable to aerial and artillery attack. The SAA seems to be concentrating its offensive at Jisr al-Shoghour while shoring up its defenses at Ariha. The enemy offensive may be part of a negotiating ploy to strengthen the bargaining position of the traitors before the start of the Moscow talks which Washington now seems to be on board. Time will tell if the rat supporters are truly interested in winding down the war. Keep… Read more »

If I recall Ziad writing perhaps a year ago, that counting local militia and citizen defense groups country wide, , the SAA contained 400,000 men. I just don’t see it. The activity going on seems to be of a military that is strapped to the very limit and swings from one area to another to plug holes in the dyke. Like it or not, Iran must step in to save Syria.

After more TOW multi-kills from the same firing point yesterday upon the fleeing Dad’s Army, Jaish Al Fatah had quite a party in Al-Mastoumah yesterday, joyriding on captured T-72s heading South to eagerly rip Assad a new axehole in Ariha!

Not a problem … it’s all part of the cunning plan!

Breaking News {unconfirmed}: IS has stormed government and state security buildings in Palmyra, killing at least 20 SAA.

Shiite Iraqi militants in Aleppo esp. Asaib al Haqq Batallion have abandoned hope of victory and are returning to Iraq.

‘Rebel’ gains in Mastoumeh (since start of offensive till today):
100+ SAA killed, 65 captured including 1 high ranking officer (not named yet but sweetly warbling upside down in a barn with crocodile clips chewing on his nipples already)
4 T-72 tanks, 10 artillery cannon 130mm calibre, 5 katyusha rocket launchers, 3 Shilka type 23 guns plus enough munitions to retake Homs.

New attack: ISIS seize ‘a third’ of Syria’s ancient Palmyra city. Folks, not good. 1.500 SAA troops in Palmyra and the attacking IS force is certainly smaller.

Note that ISIS already took everything east of of Palmyra this month….

Ariha is already under attack. SAA suffering from exhaustion. Just pull back: Ariha, Kuweires. No point in trying to hold those since SAA is suffering defeat after defeat.

They must hold Palmrya or Deir-Ez-Zor will also be fucked. Having said that… if they can’t hold on to Palmrya… then pull back from Deir Ez Zor, concentrate on the west to reorganise and rebuild a fighting force.
