UPDATED MAP OF MILITARY SITUATION AT LATTAKIA AND IDLIB

The Syrian Arab Army has launched a massive attack on terrorists in Jabal al-Akrad (Kurdish Mountains), specifically in the area of Salma – a terrorist stronghold. The SAA has taken control of the strategic hills in the western part of the village. The SAA now controls a out 40 percent of the area. It is believed another SAA force from the Prophet Isaiah Mountains has also launched an attack as well..ย Government troops are closing in on Kessab while tightening the strain on Nab’ain. Furthermore, the SAA backed by the NDF have advanced near the village of Kafar Dulba and have effectively put Salma under siege. Also note that some government troops are still stationed on the perimeter of Khan Shaykhun while fiercely defending the area.

This is a very interesting map, a region we desperately need to look closely now since there may be a a nice fit with the southern Aleppo offensive. Thank you.

Excellent map, good work!
UN has changed the name. It’s now USN (United States Nations).
Also Ukrainian Poroshenko got a nick name – “Porky”.

Poroshenko is trying to commit genocide in Ukraine and call it OK?!
Let me explain why. He “offers free passage” to “Russian militia” to Russia or he will kill them. Knowing that under term “Russian militia” he means Ukrainian ethnic Russians he is actually threatening them with – genocide!

Pushing on Baba Al-Hawa is a clear sign of SAA intensions: dividing the terrorist concentrations in two pockets: one from Western parts of Aleppo to Idlib and down to Morek and the second including the rest of terrorists pouring from Turkey border: simple but effective. But requires a lot of men. Again, as I said, it requires resources, Kesab front must be sealed off and the’re still a lot of concentrations of terrorists in Al-Rastan, stucking men and armoured vehicles preventing them to go South to take care of Daraa front.

Thanks Chris, always happy to see updates with battle maps ๐Ÿ™‚ I didn’t know SAA is so far down south from Idlib, seems very close to reach Maarat al Nuuman from north side too, i can’t wait for some push towards that town, it should come from north, south and hopefully from east too with recent develpoments around mount al Hass. Terrorists are packed into many enclaves with no way out all around Syria already, now it’s time to trap them in Idlib governate too. I just saw this article, seems interesting enough to share … it explains those huge… Read more »

Kesab needs to be flanked by paratrooper units in order to halt the rats retreat into Turkey. Surely the SAA must have paratrooper units.

I think a main objective should be to push east towards Saraqin. Through this small city/town, the M5 highway is located, the main supply route of the rats in southern Idlib.

Capturing this would cause some serious trouble for the rats.
