Map of Baghdad and sourrounding areas in Iraq

Iraq
This is Leith’s brand new map of Baghdad and the surrounding countryside. Some of you might be thinking “Off-topic”, but please note that Syria and Iraq are geopolitical allies in the battle against ISIS; Hence the map. Muqdadiyah and Samarra have been completely liberated by the Iraqi troops as of today. Furthermore, Tikrit still remains contested.

I don’t see it, Green. Even if ISIS had the force, it’s too strung out. Baghdad appears, from the dispositions posted on the map, to have the city pretty well covered. In the north, the Iraqi Army and volunteers have the insurgents’ western columns pretty well confined, but we’ll see what develops going forward, if Leith keeps the maps coming. A call for Hizbollah to get involved in Iraq is, I think, wishful thinking. Although they have done amazing work in western Syria, they also have their own country to protect and cleanse, since the Lebanese Army is bloody useless.… Read more »

Baghdad will not fall, Shia Imam Ali Sistani has officially requested the assistance of Hezbullah! All the Imams of Qum, have come out appearing Battle dress fatigues and are rallying the Shi’a and asking for Volunteers! These are old Men, mind you go to Al alam .com The Shi’a will be Victorious! The Anglo American Zionazi Cabal is using a crisis that they caused in the region to go back into Iraq, this is their last desperate ruse, to stem the tidal wave of Middle Eastern Resistance, Secular Patriotism, and self determination. The Mighty Hezbullah, SAA and the NDF ran… Read more »

quote ” Why did you not see this coming Ziad? ” Because is a very stupid Plan.. and it will not work.. IRAN will now be legally with an Army near Syria , Something israel will start to fear ,and will squash the terrorist and drive them back to Turkey and after that IRAN army will continue chasing the terrorist all the way to Syria.. and probably in charge of clearing the eastern side of Syria and securing the border with Turkey. This plan is horrible , horrible.. for the zionist.. LOL Now IRAN will have a legal presence in… Read more »

Sounds good, very good – but the US and other suspects will of course do their worst. This should be done rapidly. ISIL could be destroyed in Iraq, they have over-expanded themselves, and how many are they really ? It’s tactically ridiculous.

ISIS went to far, got to greedy and will be wiped out from Iraq and certainly from Syria down the road, write that down. This whole mess in Iraq was planned and executed by Saudi Arabia and Turkey, they intended to weaken Maliki’s Government toward a possible forced Government change. I am not sure whether Maliki will stay or go, but certainly ISIS bold move united the Iraqi people, shia, sunni and kurds toward eliminating this treat. The US will not intervene, actually will only do it if Maliki asks for it, but that would be against the interets of… Read more »

My dear friend Mentat, time will tell who is right on this matter and naivety, but appreciated your feedback.
I have noticed your jealousy on Ziad has taken to a new height, it is getting too obvious pale. Cheers.

If, I say IF, the Iraqis can stop worrying about which foot their neighbor washes first, and concentrate on building an inclusive nation, that would be a major step forward, all right; trouble is, a unified Iraq is one of the last things upon the planet that the USSA wants to see. Count upon CIA, the ever present pedlars of War, Famine, Pestilence, Red Hell and Death to create enough false flags to make blankets for all of the poor upon the face of the earth. I wish Iraq well, in the future, plus a massive increase in Wisdom with… Read more »

Baghdad will fall if there is no foreign intervention by the US, Turkey and others. The Maliki regime is already relying on Iranian special forces to hold back the advance toward Baghdad with these forces having the secret approval of the US-highlighting once again the US-Iranian joint venture on Iraq since the occupation. Even the warmonger Lindsay Graham says America must cooperate with Iran to prevent the fall of Baghdad, the same person who has been most active in trying to get air strikes underway against Syria. The Iranian affiliated media is also mobilizing by publishing numerous fake stories of… Read more »

Jason, Lindsay Graham is a pogue. If the USSA starts bombing, it will bomb the cities and never mind ISIS – – that’s the way the USSA and NATO work, which is slaughter, by wholesale, the citizens who have no weapons. From bombing Baghdad, they will immediately start on Syria, claiming that ISIS has crossed the border and are mobile enough, now, to have reached every ‘Middlesex village, hamlet and town’ as far as the Lebanese border, so all of Syria must be turned into a DU contaminated wasteland; the rationale being that if no Syrian can live within the… Read more »
