HOMS: There is some kind of pressure being used on the FSA in north Lebanon that is making its leadership take risks which could be described as suicidal. Yesterday, in the countryside around Al-Qusayr, the Syrian Army and militia from the National Defense Forces killed over 130 rats as they tried to invade
Ghanto. Using motorcycles to more easily ply the difficult terrain around main roads and 4-wheel drive vehicles mounted with a variety of heavy machine guns, they completely ignored the concentrating forces around them who had been digging in for weeks.
Ghanto: Wael and Monzer both sent me data on the battle. According to Wael, these were the names of carcasses identified so far:
Nash’at Abed Qadaadu
Ahmad Ali Nu’ayma
Ali Jum’ah Al-Khaleel
Jihaad Saaber ‘Assaal
Nooreddeen Hamaadi (“Hamaadaa”)
Baassel Muhammad ‘Uthmaan
Ghassaan Ahmad Tooqaan
Safaa’ Abdul-Rahmaan Al-Qajar
Layth Habeeb Al-Zaydi
Another 38 have, so far, been searched but were without papers. Some 12 Lebanese terrorist rats were also taken prisoner. All were from the Tripoli vicinity. The search for bodies continues all around the rural countryside.
At Baab Hood in Homs City, the following were killed trying to escape into another neighborhood:
‘Abbaas Abdul-Hameed Bayram
‘ARSAAL, LEBANON: The day before yesterday, Lebanese President Michel Sulayman ordered his Defense Minister to prepare a report on alleged Syrian Air Force bombing of terrorist concentrations in the area of ‘Arsaal. He had good reason to order this. On Wednesday, during late afternoon hours, a Hind Helicopter gunship struck a large grouping of rats who were preparing to infiltrate Lebanon from Siraaj Al-Qaysar. They never got the chance. According to Wael’s sources, MI intercepted FSA communications and reported this to HQ in Damascus. Chief of the Air Force, Lt. Gen. Hallaaq ordered the attack in order to prevent the terrorists from making a night supply of weapons for their embattled and defeated comrades near Homs. There are no details of casualties. What we know from intercepted cell-phone calls is that several flatbeds with machine guns, 13 cars loaded with ammunition and many weapons were destroyed. Wael reports that the wounded were spirited away in the direction of Baalbek.
There is a major battle being fought at Shaykh Miskeen (var. Shmiskeen). These terrorists have come from Jordan and were trained by American terrorism-enablers. Captured rats have told MI that the plan is to create a zone of stability where more supplies could come in from Jordan and “Israel”. Monzer tells me that the plan is puzzling in that it is impossible to achieve. At this battle, the rats are taking very heavy losses. He has no details at the present time.
The selection of Shaykh Miskeen is obvious. Syrian air force jets would have to consider the danger of flying over either Zionist air defense positions or into Jordanian air space. While Lebanon is a soft touch, neither able to stanch the in-gathering of rats on its northern borders with Syria nor prevent Syrian bombardment of its infested territories, “Israel” has a robust capacity to respond to any violation of its already acknowledged illegitimacy. Jordan too can count on Zionist help since its King Abdallah II reigns only by dint of British, American and Zionist support. But, as one Syrian parliamentarian said recently: “Our army could encircle these terrorists within hours”. That’s true.
The Syrian army’s biggest concentration of artillery is in the area of Shaykh Miskeen all the way up to the huge base at Qatana. Syria’s artillery capabilities are some of the most formidable in the world. Check the London Institute for Strategic Studies World Military Balance in older editions to study the evolution of Syria’s daunting firepower. On top of this, the FSA is now perilously close to the Iranian positions near the Golan. They are also within the bailiwick of the Republican Guard under command of Maj. Gen. Haafez Makhloof and in the cross-hairs of the Syrian First Army Corps. SyrPer is going to predict that the campaign in this area will come a cropper within a few days.
At Binnish, more bad news for dirty little rats. The SAA killed another 28 last night:
Hassan Raabiya (?)
Adnaan “Abu-Maazen” (id pending)
TENS OF RATS HOISTED BY OWN PETARD AT IED FACTORY:
Battles in Idlib are over for now. The Waadi Ghaab area is pretty peaceful today thanks to successful operations yesterday that cleared out the rats. The only exceptions are at Ma’rratmasreen, Bishaylamoon and Raam Hamdaan.
Ma’arratmasreen: Residents around this sleepy rural area were blasted by the sound of a giant explosion that shook their homes to the foundations. SAA arriving on the scene found carcasses of rats strewn over an area with a 1000 foot radius. The source? A massive igniting of a huge storage house of C-4 explosives as rodents were preparing IEDs for use against the population. There are not details and it will not be easy to put together the body parts in a scene that Monzer described to me as “blood-curdling” (بتعقد الدم). What did your mom tell you about playing with fire? There were civilian casualties apparently.
At Bishaylamoon in the Idlib rural area, SAA ambushed a convoy of cars belonging to the Jabhat Al-Nusra and killed all but 4 of the passengers. There was a firefight. These are the only identifiable carcasses:
The others are all believed to be foreign fighters. All told 16 rats were killed. Of the 4 passengers, Monzer reports 2 Turks.
Raam Hamdaan: 3 rodents dispatched. No details.
ISTANBUL: University Students defeated an attempt by the compromised Turkish Red Crescent Society and Jurist Association to collect money for the Jabhat Al-Nusra and FSA. The campaign to collect contributions was cancelled accordingly.
LONDON: Al-Quds Al-Arabi has reported what SyrPer told its readers 8 months ago, the British terrorism enablers in Turkey are training Jabhat Al-Nusra. The style of the training has a British trademark on it. We’ll keep following this story.
