Our redoubtable Information Minister disses Farouq Al-Shar’a:
We told you Homs was rat-free. The same is going to happen to Idlib very soon.
There is a huge demonstration going on today in Antioch (Antakya) against Erdoghan which is being suppressed by the Western Media. For fun, I’ll show you a pro-Assad demo from the same town. I’ll be looking for reports on the new Antioch disturbances. Paul, keep track:
Well, where’s the big attack on the Christian towns of Sqeilbiyyeh and Mhardeh? Yawn. Syrian army units are already there and the terrorists are going to be annihilated.
Not much news today. Aleppo is shut down with no electricity thanks to democracy-loving terrorists.
Latakia, Tartous, Banias, Ra’s Al-Basseet, report no rats. Still some rats around Salma but they’re going soon. Rats still infest Idlib towns along the Ghab. We must send in the Orkin Man to relieve these Christian towns.
Monzer says the Yarmouk Camp is tense because terrorist riff-raff cling to some positions in the South and are sniping at civilians. Morale is good among the Palestinians who are making it clear they don’t want any more rats. We say: Invade!
Propaganda level today is at top 10 rating. It’s like the rating you get for ragweed or pollen. It’s just hilarious.
Here’s a question from Paul:
Anonymous has left a new comment on your post “DECEMBER 22, 2012 – FIRST POST – THE USUAL NEWS, P…“:
Why does Aslan think Erdoghan will go? Bad leaders can last a long time. Also, what do you think is the deal with not smashing the invaders that are trapped? What kind of a deal could be offered that would be of much value to Syria? Starving them might be less harsh on the infrastructure, but that’s the best reason I can think of.
Answer: Dear Paul, bad leaders can last a very long time, we agree. Aslan is seeing many signs of discontent and sensitivity to events in Syria. Minority groups tend to feel for one another. Let’s see. I do not believe any deal can be made with the external opposition. It is obvious that their policy is being dictated by the war criminals. They will have to live without seeing their homeland. The only deal that will work is partition or a complete victory by the Syrian army. The people are being starved as we communicate. These are the works of the war criminals we mentioned in our posts yesterday and today. Thanks for writing, your friend, Ziad
ADDENDA ET CORRIGENDA: We saw a suspicious tape of Abdul Jabbar Al-Okeidi on Al-Mayadeen t.v. yesterday. We reported he was killed some months ago. His appearance was suspicious because his subject was exactly the same as one over 8 months ago. We are still checking. In the tape, he looked healthy. Wael is checking on this to see if the tape was a fake. We’ll keep you informed, all the while hoping for this rat’s death.
