His appearance was a disgrace. He said nothing and offered no hope for Syrians who have tired of his balderdash and addiction to violence. He takes personal greed and depravity to newer, lower levels. He should have been executed when he was in prison last time.
It’s sad to see Infowars enter the land of fantasy. What used to be a pretty intelligent site for alternative news and analysis has, with this article, demonstrated lack of vision and a complete disconnect with recent history.
From the very beginning of the conflict in Syria, the Russian Federation has taken a firm position that it’s policy is not “pro-Assad”, but instead “pro-stability”, “anti-terrorist” and “pro peaceful transition”. The point could not have been made clearer by Russia’s ambassador to the U.N., Vitaly Churkin, who while being interviewed by a British journalist snapped back when he was asked about Russia being a potential “asylum” for Dr. Assad: “Why should we take him? He has much more contact with you (i.e. U.K.). He went to school there and his wife is a British subject.” This interview took place eight months ago.
To further showcase the campaign of disinformation prosecuted by the West against our president, this article completely ignores Sergei Lavrov’s own remarks, repeated ad nauseam in the press, that Russia has no national interest in Bashar Al-Assad. It is the nation of Syria which motivates Russian policy. Jumping on Putin’s hackneyed remarks is typical, however, of the press in the West. It keeps talking about the “opposition moving into the capital” even when the evidence is overwhelming that Operation Zero Hour came a miserable cropper.
The Western Media should hardly find in Infowars a comrade in the campaign to vilify our government in Syria, especially since Infowars has been a leader in exposing the the programmatic, systemic lying in the West. We hope this is a minor aberration.
ADDENDA ET CORRIGENDA: KG was dead on right. The picture displayed yesterday of a fighter jet was mistakenly identified as a MiG 23 Flogger. It was not. The photo was misplaced by Ziad and taken from a file that hosts pictures sent to us by Sami. The picture is of an American Phantom fighter/bomber.
This is a MiG 23. We have MiG 29s also in our arsenal to control the population of rodents in the country.
KG is the ideal reader. I encourage more of our members and fans to point out errors. A keen eye for detail wards off the Devil. You know, the Devil is in the details. ZAF
