FOURT POST – DECEMBER 3, 2012 – JIHAD MAKDISI FIRED OVER MISMANAGEMENT OF SPOKEMAN’S OFFICE; ALLOWED TO LEAVE FOR LONDON

FOURTH POST – DECEMBER 3, 2012 – JIHAD MAKDISI, FOREIGN MINISTRY SPOKESMAN, FIRED AND ALLOWED TO LIVE IN EXILE

Monzer in Damascus reports that Jihad Makdisi, former spokesman for the Syrian Foreign Ministry was fired today for failing to “meet deadlines” and “negligence in representing the government”.  He asked F.M. Mouallem if he could leave the country.  Mouallem spoke to President Assad and was given the go-ahead to leave Syria and live in exile.  Our readers know in how much contempt we held Mr. Makdisi for his effete style.  Monzer says, however, that Makdisi is hesitant about leaving and that he may find some way back.  We hope he doesn’t.

This rat disgraces the flag of Syria with his mousy style reminiscent of Peewee Herman

why was he appointed in the first place, seems the Syrian government is very amateurish in how they handle propaganda. Come to think about it so is Iran.
