This news in since last night at 3:30 a.m. DST here in Michigan. The Syrian army supporting special forces and militia has literally annihilated all terrorists who were stationed in the area of Kasab on the northern coast and close to the border of Hatay Province (Iskenderoun) in Turkey. Wael, who actually saw the fighting from a position near Ra’s Al-Basseet, says the Syrian army gave the terrorists no opportunity to escape and exterminated them. The number of terrorists killed exceeds 123 with over one-half holding citizenships from other countries such as Libya, Saudi Arabia and Russia (Chechens). The town of Kasab (an Armenian town famous for its Anatolian cuisine) was almost completely deserted when Syrian army and militia moved in to polish off any remnants.
Wael reports that the army moving northwards is to connect with the 4th Mechanized Armor Division already taking position around Idlib. This means that Taftanaz and Saraqib will be on the hit-list very soon. He said that we should expect some exhilarating news especially with the battle in Gaza heating up. The Syrian military is “completely indifferent to the Turkish moves on the border. It’s like someone told us we have protection from some big sister. I think it’s Iran or Russia. But we’re not worried about Erdoghan anymore”, said Wael to me with an unusual hint of optimism.
TERRORISTS KILL 10 OF EACH OTHER IN DISPUTE OVER LOOT. That’s right, a group of terrorists belonging to the Jabhat Al-Nusra clashed with fellow terrorists from an unnamed group over the spoils of a raiding party which netted substantial amounts of drugs. We, at SyrPer, were the first to alert readers to the fact that much of the opposition in Syria has a motivation that stems from drug abuse and smuggling. In this instance, in Aleppo’s Zeidani Neighborhood, a shooting war ensued after a terrorist commander insisted on keeping booty from a robbed pharmacy in the area. The number of terrorists counted by the Syrian police was ten with over 26 wounded. Three of the dead were Libyans. Of the wounded prisoners, two were Libyan apes and the rest a mixture of Syrians, Lebanese and two Yemeni troglodytes.
Western media is trying to portray the fighting around Damascus as “fierce”. Monzer sent an e-mail indicating that everything was fine in the area. Harasta, Douma and Darayya were mostly terrorist-free. Some fighting in Der’ah which lasted only one hour.
News of a terrorist takeover of an airbase northwest of Aleppo is still being investigated. Wael knows nothing of any airbase of significance in that region. Airbases are not normally found along the border of a country which is a potential enemy, such as Turkey, for the most obvious reasons. Wael thinks it may be a repair-and-maintenance base which was abandoned.
The PKK killed over 5 Turkish troops yesterday in fierce fighting in Hakkari Province. Aslan says the fighting is more widespread than what the Turkish media is reporting. He heard a bit of news that the PKK had assassinated an officer in the Syrian deserter group garrisoned near Aintab. More detail is needed here.
Here is a good article for our readers about Erdoghan’s acts of war:
More on the meeting in Teheran:
What about Turkey? Mr. Erdoghan. Is it a terrorist state under your government?
Good show, Lebanese Army!!! What’s next? Are you finally going to dismantle the Syrian terrorist presence in the North or are you just going to protect the Zionist Settler State?
Hurray for the new Caliphate in Syria. Isn’t this just the cat’s meow? The Caliphate is one square mile and contains three villages.
