FIFTH POST – OCTOBER 16, 2012 – NICE LETTERS FROM OUR READERS

I get so many letters from people who are “anonymous”.  I call them all “Hieronymous”.  Here’s one:

Hello there! This is my first visit to your blog!
We are a team of volunteers and starting a new project in a community in the same niche.
Your blog provided us valuable information to work
on. You have done a wonderful job!

Here’s another one from another anonymous:

Just found your site. Great stuff! In my gut, I knew our mainstream media tells us nothing but lies. For many years, have prayed that the Syria of my grandparents would one day stand up for herself and work to re-unite all of the lands and peoples taken from the nation by the colonial powers in 1920 (Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine) and in 1939 (Iskandarun). The time may be near. Keep up the good work.

Here’s another from another anonymous. This might be Hans:

Ziad,

Syria has needed much better media in English and other languages for a long time. You have helped quite a bit. Half of the alternative media of any political or religious stripe would have wanted to put out better information, but couldn’t get it. Half of the alternative media are owned or controlled by the usual suspects, so they were hopeless.

By the way, what do you think of The Fetch’s radio show? He is a Westerner living in Amman who talks about things like “genocide and the politics of oil” or some oil find near Tartus.

This all ended with the the implementation the of Sykes-Picot Agreement (1916) after the 1920 Versailles Conference and which was subsequently brought violently into effect with the defeat of the independent Syrian nation at the battle of Maysloon. The Syrian… Read more »

Ziad,

It wasn’t Hans, it was me, Paul. I sent you the Spetsnaz interview, and probably a few others, such as those from Voltairenet. Speaking of those folks, any thoughts on Thierry Meyssan’s take about Britain and France bailing out on the “Syria Project”? In addition to the following piece, he apparently gave an interview on Iranian French radio/TV, but I didn’t hear that.
