FIRST POST – SEPTEMBER 28, 2012 – FSA TRAITORS ABANDONED TO FIGHT IN ALEPPO; SYRIAN FSA OFFICERS DEFECT BACK TO SYRIAN GOVERNMENT; HIZBOLLAH VOLUNTEERS NOW IN ALEPPO FIGHTING WITH MILITIA; IRANIAN FORCES PLAY LARGE ROLE IN DEFENDING SYRIAN AIRCRAFT DEFENSE; AMERICAN SPIES INVOLVED IN THE ATTACK ON DEFENSE MINISTRY:
All news is straight from Aleppo from reliable sources. No Ouija Boards here such as those used by the Syrian Observatory or fake sources taken from professional propaganda organizations like Al-Jazeera or Al-Arabiyya. This is what is taking place now in Aleppo.
The FSA, as we reported, has been ordered out of Southern Turkey by Erdoghan due to pressure from Turkish citizens, the Army and the Opposition. When the Turkish army began the process of pushing foreign fighters out into the Syrian wilderness, the FSA directed them toward Aleppo with the argument that this would be the “decisive battle”. This laugh-inducing proclamation did not come from the traitors, Col. Riad Al-As’ad or Gen. Mustapha Al-Sheikh. These men are looking now for a way out of the mess they created. Al-As’ad has been recorded speaking to contacts in Ankara asking about his applications for asylum. The spokesman for the FSA clamed that his organization never said before that the battle would be decisive. Of course, he was lying.
In the meantime, Syrian army regulars have been passing pamphlets around Aleppo demanding that the terrorists immediately throw down their weapons or face unavoidable death. In other developments, Syrian intelligence has placed messages on cellular telephones warning the killers that the “game is over” and “surrender now or face annihilation”.
This news is absolutely reliable. A friend, Hassan, has confirmed that his brother saw large numbers of militia who spoke with a clearly Southern Lebanese accent marching alongside regular government soldiers in the Hanano district of Aleppo. Hassan is certain that the Lebanese men are volunteers with training in Hizbollah camps. His information is that they were trained specifically for urban warfare.
I have received confirmed reports from Ali that at least seven former defecting officers have begun negotiations to turn themselves over to Syrian government military police in exchange for amnesty. We do not know yet the result of the negotiations or whether Generals Ali Ayoub, Chief of the General Staff, or Lt. Gen. Fahd Al-Fureij, Defense Minister, are interested in these offers. Syrian Perspective takes the position that these criminals must be charged with treason and desertion. However, if they have no blood on their hands, they might be considered for reduced sentences. SyrPer takes a very strong position against treason. Officers like Al-As’ad and Al-Sheikh must be hanged.
The battle for Aleppo has actually started with mostly foreign terrorists taking the lead. Wael in Latakia tells me that the foreign killers have been told that the Syrian army will not take them prisoner but are under orders to kill them on the spot. This is false, according to Wael. Syrian security wants as many live foreigners as possible in order to vet them and display them to a very angry Syrian population which daily wishes for their extermination. And that will be arranged in due course. These terrorists have been useful to the army in that codes used by their German, English and French handlers can be analyzed and archived. Their statements have also been valuable for the hints they give about the strategy being followed by NATO.
The Financial Times reported today that Turkey’s role in the conflict in Syria is more than Ankara can withstand. The U.S. must be reading SyrPer which has consistently warned that a major foreign policy catastrophe is coming with Erdoghan’s government falling either due to a military coup d’ etat or a vote of no confidence. There is even news now that a criminal action is being sought against Erdoghan for violating the constitution – this coming at a time when verdicts are expected in the trials of over 300 former Turkish army officers, some like high-ranking Gen.Basbug, former Chief of the Turkish General Staff. exceeds mere supply of weapons and funding. I have confirmed reports that Syria’s vaunted S-300 anti-aircraft missile defense system, which we reliably reported to you was the target of dug-in American and English special forces, are being protected by Iranian Quds Force troops tasked for this purpose in order to allow Syrian soldiers to participate in defending the state from the foreign terrorists. This is consistent with Iran’s averments that its troops are not involved in combat. We also know here at SyrPer that the U.S. is particularly miffed that Syrian air defenses are now virtually immune to ground attack by either its Special Ops agents or the FSA.
Considered the best integrated missile air-defense system in the world, Syria’s deployment since the attack on Al-Kibar has made it a daunting target for the Turkish or NATO air forces.
In the almost exclusively Sunni town of Al-Rastan outside Homs, /Syrian security forces arrested over 23 terrorists and seized numerous weapons smuggled in from Lebanon. Also, in Sirmeen, near Idlib, three flatbed trucks with Doschka machine guns set up in the rear were destroyed and all criminals inside killed. According to Monzer in Damascus, the number of terrorists in the capital’s countryside can be counted in the tens with most having been killed or escaped to Jordan. They have been thoroughly routed.
Of interest to SyrPer readers, the terrorists who tried to occupy the Defense Ministry after the two explosions of two days ago, made every effort to find sensitive documents in order to expose the Syrian government’s nuclear program —if you can believe that. But that is what the terrorists who were taken prisoner admitted. All the prisoners described receiving these instructions from Americans a their base near Al-Ramtha who told them that such data would help in convincing other countries to intervene directly. Obviously, no such documentation was found and the entire effort to commandeer and exploit the Ministry came a cropper but for the murder of four of our security guards and the destruction to some parts of the building. If you can call that a success.
