Hello Ziad, though I would like to believe your many victory messages in favour of the syrian army I think your sources are not that credible.Many weeks ago you predicted the death of Al-Oqaidi in Aleppo, building your view on information by “Imad” and “Monzer”. Al-Oqaidi is unfortunately alive, while the army still has problems in Salaheddine. It also does not seem to control Saif al dawleh. Also the rebels inside Aleppo whom you thought to be trapped, out of ammunition and “starving” are still alive and sniping soldiers. Aleppo is more a stalemate than an army victory. In all fairness, Nima, you did not name one source to legitimize your refute. Also, you’re claiming Aleppo is a stalemate; while, the Syrian army has not decisively eradicated these militants, they have forced them into retreat (even the BBC reports this). Furthermore, this whole situation resembles Venezuela in the early 2000’s. The upheaval in Venezuela was truthfully a failed coup on behalf of the United States and the other oil hungry countries in order to force Hugo Chavez to abjure his position in the government. Hi Anonymous (1:15 PM) I did not intend to refute Ziad. What I said was that the daily victory messages for the SAA that he is/was posting do not entirely correspond with the ground situation. Assuming that the SAA captured Salaheddine three weeks ago, what has come next since then? The reports about rebels having attacked 2 military airports between Aleppo and Idlib and having destroyed many aircraft are not my inventions, but something many media outlets reported, even though always referring to “activists” accounts.
