FIRST POST – AUGUST 17, 2012 – SYRIAN TERRORIST FSA DEVASTATED BY SYRIAN ARMY ASSAULT; WESTERN PRESS SILENT OVER DEBACLE IN ALEPPO
Just reviewed e-mails which came in overnight. Monzer wrote that Syrian army units are in a “comb and sweep mode” now in Salahuddine. As we wrote, yesterday, in an article widely read around the world, the terrorist FSA was forced out of Salahuddine and into the much more precarious Saif-Al-Dawla neighborhood which borders open park lands. Yesterday, SyrPer confirmed over 200 terrorist casualties. No numbers for injured, yet. Monzer adds that the city is completely surrounded and that many terrorists are being killed trying to enter from the north and northeast. Syrian militia and security personnel are making it impossible for them to enter and relieve the trapped terrorists inside.
A telephone call from Latakia confirmed that Lt. Gen. Al-Fureij and Lt. Gen. Ali Ayoub, Chief of Staff, have not given the order to bring Sayf-Al-Dawla down because of “many civilians” still held hostage by the criminal FSA. Instead, the Syrian army is counting on sleep deprivation, lack of ammunition and absence of command to force the terrorists to attempt a second breakout into the park area where they can be eliminated with more finesse.
Iyad sent an e-mail indicating that former Col. Abdul-Jabbar Al-Oqeidi is still inside Aleppo and is being protected like some saint. SyrPer predicted that this traitor would be captured or killed.
Syrian Yak sub-sonic fighter bombers have had a lethal effect on the crumbling FSA in Aleppo. Spotters on buildings around Salahuddine and elsewhere have guided remarkably accurate bombing of terrorist positions.
If you want proof that the battle for Aleppo has been a catastrophe for the terrorist FSA, look at the world news for today. You’ll notice there is precious little writing about battles in Aleppo. When the West has nothing positive, it stays mum.
Radwan in Beirut left me this message which I translated from the Arabic: “We’re afraid that another civil war is going to start. This time it’s between Lebanese Forces and Sunnis against Hizbollah, the Shi’a organization. Hizbollah has many allies too. They will count of the Syrian Nationalists (SSNP) and even the Sunni Nasseris (Murabitoun). I hope it’s not going the way I fear. Come soon before it starts……. My mother is going to make you kubbeh safarjaliyyeh“.
There is a modification to the story about Brig. Gen. Maher Al-Assad. He has now lost only “one leg” according to Saudi lying press. Tomorrow, he will have lost a tooth.
I have confirmed through my brother-in-law in Latakia that Brig. Gen. Maher Al-Assad is in excellent health and is commanding the 4th mechanized armored division as I reported yesterday.
I will have more shortly. I am getting some info on the hostage situation in Lebanon.
