JULY 26, 2012 – FIRST POST – A SINCERE “WELCOME BACK” TO MARK THE BRIT AND HIS FAMILY AFTER A FORTNIGHT IN ENGLAND AND SPAIN.
The staff of SyrPer want to extend our hand in welcome to our loyal friend and colleague, Mark the Brit, who delighted the editor by giving him a baseball cap with the acronym for the Royal Shakespeare Company. He attended a “A Comedy of Errors” at the Stratford Theatre after arriving there in some antique Jaguar Roadster with his wife, Tracey. Very stylish. Oh, very posh! So, elegantly decadent. Good show.
SYRIA ADOPTS COLIN POWELL DOCTRINE OF OVERWHELMING FORCE IN ALEPPO. THE BATTLE HAS BEGUN TO EXTERMINATE THE ISLAMIST TRAITORS, DESERTERS AND REACTIONARIES.
Straight news from Aleppo. Only SyrPer can bring you news unadulterated by CIA psych-ops goons and Morlocks. Only SyrPer brings you disinterested views about events . Our sources for this concatenation of reports are my wife’s nephews strewn over much of Aleppo, Lt. Adnan Isbir of the Syrian Third Army Corps, 2nd Division, in-laws in Latakia, an anonymous source in Iskenderoun, Monzer in Damascus and others who don’t like to be mentioned.
Colin Powell, General of the U.S. Army (Ret), is the architect of Syria’s response to the Islamist infestation in Aleppo. We sense shades of Zhukov, also.
Here is one you are going to love: my wife’s two nephews in the Sulaymaniyya Quarter of Aleppo, singlehandedly capture two unarmed members of the so-called “FSA” and turned them over to police. They were properly arrested and, in all likelihood, turned ove to General Security – if they were lucky.
The nephews confirm from Sulaymaniyya, Bawwabat Al-Faraj and Hanano, that relatively large numbers of “seedy looking” types have crawled into Aleppo during the past ten nights in what appears to be a last stand or the “BIG BREAKOUT” moment in their pathetic history. They are doing what the Syrian HQ predicted: concentrating in areas where poorer Syrians live, especially in older sections with their Ottoman-style narrow meandering alleyways and cul de sacs.
The nephews confirm that morale is high among the population with an overwhelming sense that Aleppans, Muslim and Christian, do not want the deserter Islamist army among them. I have received confirmation that high-ranking members of Aleppo’s merchant class and aristocratic families have told Dr. Assad that this was the last straw. They want the slovenly, reactionary Islamist garbage out.
Lt. Adnan Isbir sends me messages through his sister in Latakia. He reports that he has never seen so many armored units confluescing in one area like this. His sister, Shereen, reports that Adnan is stationed near the Aleppo International Airport and is watching whole units of special forces arriving. Special Forces have not been used extensively in the past for a myriad reasons. However, it appears that the new chief of the Syrian General Staff, Lt. Gen. Ali Ayoub, has no reservations about deploying them. The new Syrian Defense Minister, is, incidentally, a son of Hama, hence making him very valuable to the government in assuaging the hurt feelings of that city’s raging Islamist core. He can turn his back now on home town without fear.
Syrian Army Special Forces during training near Damascus. They have been unleashed on the dogs.
More interesting notes: Shereen says that a friend of theirs who hails from Tartous and was accepted into special forces training told her that any deserter from s.p. who is captured, will not be turned over to Military Intelligence or Political Security. He will be disemboweled and his body cremated. Those are the wages of treason!
At Bawwabat Al-Qasab, in the city center, there is little military activity. Amazingly, one of the nephews reported that he saw some German tourists heading toward the Citadel with video cameras in their hands. What courage! They are probably Der Spiegel reporters in mufti.
Monzer, in Damascus, confirms what most everybody now knows about BBC, CNN, NBC, PBS lying.
Damascus is pacified and cleansed of all rodent infestations. Salafist holdouts remain in parts of Tadhamun and Qabun. They are being systematically vaporized with the help of the local population. The salafist presence, unlike that of the FSA, seems to trigger a vitriolic reaction from Syrian villagers, who, like their citified countrymen, despise Wahhabist ideology. There are horror stories to tell about what the salafists have done in the Syrian countryside. But that must wait for verification. Life in Damascus is going back to normal.
This if for Fatina whose son is in Manbej: The army has that town on its list and the terrorists will soon be out and the people freed of the plague of Erdoghan’s minions. Erdoghan – that Islamist freak – whose days are numbered. Erdoghan, that blithering idiot, Dufus of the Year, who took a sizzling trade relationship with Syia straight to the collective Ottoman toilet. He just closed borders to Syrian trucks. He can’t understand how the people of Aleppo coalesce more with their government when they are subjected to this kind of arbitrary oppression. The people of Southern Turkey and the Alevis are preparing to hoist this dog on a Turkish spit.
That’s what he is: an Islamist who puts the Muslim Brotherhood ahead of his own people.
Monzer also reported what we already know: the Syrian army is passing leaflets and fliers around both Damascus suburbs and Aleppo encouraging the sewage rat FSA to turn itself in or face “death by fire”. Many in Aleppo. have responded to military exhortations via blare phones by turning in their weapons and pleading for the mercy they don’t deserve.
There is still an infestation in Salma, a town close to my wife’s hometown of Slinfeh. It is a very mountainous Kurdish area where some FSA have nestled into fallowed fields or abandoned huts. This has not stopped people from leaving Latakia and spending much-needed cool-time in the mountains. The Syrian militias have been tasked with eradicating the scum, a task taken up, I understand with much zeal. The traitors are also running out of ammunition, a development that, doubtlessly, propels the courageous militiamen to greater and greater achievement in the scientific use of pesticides.
Just a note. Finally, the Syrian army has begun to arm the PKK whose capability in battle is attested to by the Turkish military. Maybe, none of this would be necessary if that miscreant, ERDOGHAN, left power or was OVERTHROWN by the Turkish military. Let us all pray.
I have to leave now to do something. I will try to get back and post some more of the notes I have collected on events in Aleppo.
