I’d love to see a provincial wide Aleppo map.

Also, looking into the mind of the non-ISIS rebels does anyone know what their game plan is? Before it was take over Aleppo n Damascus, now thats dashed, what’s next? I’m guessing they don’t know what to do. Does anyone who studies rebel strategy know anything?

Their strategy is increasingly mourn the death of the idiot who recruited them and try to not join him.

Their strategy is to just get their 72 virginians now. SAA is helping them in that.
Also you may want to check this map:

What is the obsession with virgins at all, let alone perpetual ones. Geez! I prefer women who know that that thing is for, and ain’t afraid to use it. Virgins are so overrated, it’s really hard to believe how much.

This is a truly disturbing video of the ugliness and violence of the so-called Syrian “opposition”. These terrorists have no principles and no ideals, they are nothing but agents of chaos and destruction. Ziad, please tell us that extra manpower will be dedicated toward hunting down and killing every last one of the people in this video. Especially that hideous rat-faced goat of a woman. That filthy old prostitute should have each finger and toe smashed with the same hammer she used to so viciously bludgeon that poor defensless soldier. Don’t even get me started on what should be done… Read more »

It is difficult to see these images and not feel a lot of bitterness and sadness, poor humanity. My God, Eternal Father, I implore peace for the righteous men and women soon brings peace to your children suffering in Syria.
May God protect us from a bad end, to enlighten us so that we can one day deterrant and that we finish with such fury.

This is beyond human understanding. Stabbing and smashing completely defenseless soldiers like prehistoric savages shows us what this ‘democracy’ looks like.

“They will learn the hard way that those who use violence will also die violently” — yes, by his body language the soldier was beginning to appreciate this lesson being hammered into his head by that energetic old lady, when the DaggerMaster arrived and decided he’d had just about enough educational input and was now ready for his graduation ceremony. Evidently SAA are fabulously popular in this area, possibly East Ghouta, so much so that the people have developed these quaint ways of thanking for all the barrel-bombs, artillery, etc., they have received from the bounty of Assad, whom they… Read more »

F U Mentat. Barrel bombs are too good for these scum. They live only to torture, murder and ‘wackbar!’. I would gladly purchase front-row tickets to watch the old crone in this video personally thank YOU for your sympathy and support. This is yet another example of the reality that you stubbornly refuse to see. I hope that one day, these same people come to your country as ‘refugees from the cruelty of Assad.’ They will soon be conducting live sacrifices on the Blarney Stone and the only thing for Irishmen to kiss will be Amerikan and Wahhabi arses. To… Read more »

Well, I’m glad to see you’re in a better mood today, not your usual grumpy self! Now for a little thought experiment — ask yourself what it would take to get your mum to do this … that is how empathy, the beginning of wisdom, works. In all probability these are perfectly normal people who under the extenuating circumstances exhibit the perfectly natural human emotional reaction of explosively venting their vengeful rage upon the first available proxy of the hate figure they blame for all their suffering. It’s the classic ‘natives with pitchforks’ lynch-mob scenario which has happened across all… Read more »

Shut up and go to hell Mentat. You continue to support the barbarians and you always find good reasons for murderers. You understand the atrocities of terrorists and you apologize in advance. Your pity goes to the “poor old woman “and not one who is martyred. Your hatred of Bashar Al-Assad makes you a stupid and soulless. You believe that your intellectual reasoning make you look wiser, more humane ? Instead you show yourself as you really are a pathetic monster.

Mentard is truly a sad sack. Typical of the average young radicalized muslim though. Self satisfied, delusions of adequacy. Highly conflicted – seems to hate and lash out at virtually everyone. According to his twitter account he is from ireland, yet he feels that people like himself and fellow salafi fake muslim losers should decide the fate of foreign countries. Rolls in here with a chip on his shoulder and a stolen thesaurus to try to come off as cerebral, instead he actually embarrasses himself so badly that he almost causes people to pity him rather than hate him. He… Read more »

It’s fascinating to observe how you obsessive Troofers can create an apparently bomb-proof dogma out of pure wind. Like this arbitrary twitter account Shireen casually farted in passing one day, which you, the proverbial drowning man, have latched onto and mounted into your grand fetish, just so that you can lazily rail against your straw-man of choice. This is IMHO the sign of a wasted mind, already pretty far slumped into the vicious habit of substituting a comforting fantasy for the reality it finds too painful to contemplate. What a pity! Now go look up ‘cognitive dissonance theory’, if it’s… Read more »

The “Supreme Military Council” (population 0) threatens to quit the fight if not given “aid” that they can resell at profit to IS:

As you can read on LiveLeak (some “Cerrutti” user, uploaded this map comparing with the same of 23 May ago), the presence of rats in that little “hole” in the middle can be explained because that is still a contested area. So even if the army over run their positions, some menaged to re-infiltrate again. It’s very common in “contested” areas ( in Qalamoun is happening the same, army and Hezbollah controls its Hills and strategic heights but some gangs have still men power to launch assaults)

Nope, it never was and never advertised as such, the encirclement just happened. The SAA gave top priority to get a strong “beach head” on Shaykh Najar then 1st and 2nd sectors in order to speed up the liberation of the Central Prison siege. Once that done then troops could be used to finish off the 3rd sector and surounding cities as well as troops could be pushed toward encircling Aleppo.

Hi, Canthama. I disagree that the encirclement ‘just happened. Previous maps show the SAA closing the ring on the insurgents. As you can see from this map, the pocket is on what appears to be open ground, mostly. Pretty slick.

Here’s a link to the May battle map. At the top right, you can just barely make out the closing of the ring.

News came yesterday on the industrial city encirclement, see attached. http://www.islamicinvitationturkey.com/2014/07/01/syria-army-regains-control-over-strategic-towns-near-aleppo-industrial-city/ April 13th, the SAA was far from encircling the industrial city. http://syrianperspective.com/2014/04/battle-map-of-aleppo-updated.html In May, as you pointed out, the upper side of sector 2 was still not fully under the SAA. SAA has dominated sector 1 and partially sector 2 as a strong back bone to advance to Central Prison from late last year until May/2014, the northern/eastern side of the Industrial City and surounding cities ( Kafr Saghir, Al Maqbalah, Al Ma’badiyah and Sheikh Zayat) appeared to be taken 2 days ago finalizing the encirclement on the sector… Read more »

Until the next SyPer post, here’s some more good news:
1) Severe clashes took place between #ISIS and al-Nusra front fighters in al-Shehail town of #Deir_Ezzor countryside what resulted in deaths from both sides (Tee-hee, it’s rat vs rat again!)
2) Su-25’s flying in & landing in Baghdad, these are possibly from Iran? (Still waiting for the promised help from the good ‘ole USA?)

Article today in Iraqi News that five more Sukhois were delivered to Baghdad Airport. I wish somebody in Iraq would grow a brain and secure I1AF aircraft in an American Free Zone. Better yet, just kick the Americans the hell out of Iraq.

Here’s the link to an article in RBTH, defence section. You know, it would be nice if somebody could figure out how many planes the IqAF is getting, types and variants, and how many have actually arrived. Forget about the American F16 FlimFlams. Iraq will never see ’em.
